Social Enterprise

An award-winning graduate of the Dartington School for Social Entrepreneurs, Angela is passionate about social enterprise. She enjoys volunteering in her community to help local businesses with marketing strategy and social media.

Angela founded the Teignmouth Thunderbirds (TBirds) Netball Club in Oct 2014 which has since welcomed over 200 local women back to netball.  As Chair and Head Coach, Angela was awarded the Teignbridge Sports Awards 2015 for Services to Sport (Community) and was nominated one of only 4 coaches for the England Netball South West Grassroots Coach of the year 2016 & 2017. Angela is proud that TBirds compete with 6 teams in 3 local netball leagues and alongside annual promotion, TBirds are the Back to Netball Regional (South) Champions 2016.  For more information see @TBirdsNetball on Facebook and Twitter or visit the website www.tbirdsnetball.club
